This update also includes some other notable changes:
-Banners on gold blocks now defend against bandits and invasions
-Bandits can no longer steal the item you*re holding or the items you*re wearing
-Banner bearers can spawn in invasions
-Hired NPCs will now attack bandits
-Also, the Rohan crafting table is now made of four planks and no rock.
总的来说，就是调皮的作者TM更新了盗贼来考验我们的跑酷技巧，但也增加了一些动物的作用，还有就是洛汗工作台变成4个木板来合成了。

A nice little feature idea I came up with while killing some bandits.
When an NPC drops an item, the item*s tooltip now says who it belonged to!
(Only for non-stackable items, swords, tools, armour, etc.)
Some changes to Fast Travel and Waypoints!
First of all, I have added a waypoint filter button to the map. You can toggle between showing all waypoints, only map waypoints, only custom ones, and none at all.
Also, you can no longer use fast travel as a free escape from a dangerous situation - if there are any nearby NPCs attacking you, it simply will not work.
And finally, the Middle-earth respawning mechanic has been slightly changed. Previously, if you had a bed, you would always respawn there no matter where you died. But now, if you die more than 5000 blocks away from the bed, you respawn somewhere up to 2000 blocks from your death point, as usual.
(It would be a huge pain to die in Harad and respawn at your bed in the Shire. Besides, with custom waypoints, you can now travel back to your bed location quite easily.)

It is with great pleasure that I announce the release of Public Beta 20 - our largest update ever - with the addition of the Red Book, and the beginnings of the Quest System!
When speaking to an NPC, you now have a chance to be offered a *Mini-Quest* - a small task which you can accept and complete in order to earn some extra alignment points. Your progress on these deeds is recorded in the Red Book - a new item which can be crafted using a book, red dye, and a gold nugget, and which is also henceforth available in the *starter chests* of new Middle-earth worlds.
In addition, the Shire Reckoning calendar has been fully implemented into the mod. You can now see the days of your adventure passing by!
A great many other new features have been added in this update. Some of the most significant are:
- new horse armour types,
- the addition of the Dol Guldur faction,
- shields as replacements for capes,
- better water throughout Middle-earth,
- the ability to tame and ride the Spawn of Ungoliant (who can climb up vertical surfaces),
- new Woodland Elk mounts for the Wood-elves,
- better crossbow functionality,
- TWO-HEADED TROLLS, HOBBIT FEET, AND DALISH PASTRIES
- and a much-loved character has now been officially added into the world, precious...

With this update, quest givers* locations are displayed on the Middle-earth map, mini-quests now reward you with coins in addition to alignment, and there are achievements for completing the mini-quests.
You can zoom in further on the map, the long-standing difficulties with moving the map on higher zooms have been fixed, and ocean water colour now varies by latitude.
A few bugs have also been fixed.

作者突然又更了，说是修复了一些画面问题。
Surprise update (this update even surprised me) Public Beta 20.2, because when I was playing around with a mysterious new feature I discovered that the Middle-earth respawning didn*t work anymore. So that is now fixed.
I also brought forward the new rain feature, and added a configuration option for the sepia map (disabled by default).

This update adds the Moredain faction fully into the mod, with villages, traders, weapons, armour, blocks, and more. Travel to Far Harad and build a mighty tribal civilisation, lead the men of the plains to war in the northern lands alongside their Near-Haradrim and Half-Troll allies, or aid the cause of Gondor and bring ruin to the peoples of the south.
Also added are the Swan Knights of Dol Amroth, a subfaction of Gondor, and the lands of Dor-en-Ernil. With their swift horses and sharp blades they are sure to be a powerful match for the forces of evil.

不想说太多，现在贴吧连英文都不能打太多，作者的话都复制不了，想看的话点上一楼的连接去看吧。
这次24.2的更新大致是交易囤货货量设置，新增坩埚可以熔掉没用的装备，新阵营增加（阵营关系变得更复杂了...)，安格码大改动，装备贴图属性改动，调整boss奖励，新增法贡森林boss和一些内容。剩下的都是服务器调整，玩服务器的才懂吧。
最后，可能这是最后一次，所以，一个人再说最后一句话，再见，曾经爱过的吧友们。
