"…As an actor, you read a fair amount of comedies and a lot of them are not actually funny. And this, I thought, was really funny. And also just really honest. And the characters were so real. I think the funniest shows are about real life.
Betsy: I’m not gonna tell you you’re handsome anymore.
Dean: Yes, you are.
Betsy: No, I’m not. [
Q: What was your favorite scene that you either acted or wrote where you thought, “Wow, that is just an awesome scene”?
A: You know what, I always go back to, uh, season three when I’m sitting on the bed with my wife and I have to tell her I’m not the man I thought I was. And, um, that always resonates with me - that particular scene. Right before I get— you know, almost my head cut off with an ax. But that scene, for me, was always— stands as the thing—… And it was nice to do it with you, by the way.
"I love him so much. His part of the phone call was out in To’hajiilee, and I couldn’t be there when he was shot. I felt I would have been a distraction. And because we’re not inside, I don’t know how I could have done the off-camera for him. But he did off-camera for me at the Schrader house. After, I went up to him and said thank you, and he thanked me. We both cried and told each other we loved each other. He’s one of the sweetest people in the world. I remember I touched his head and said, “Thank you for these six years and everything you’ve given me.”"— Betsy Brandt on her last scene with Dean Norris
"I loved all the time you were stuck in bed. I felt like we had really great—"

“I have such a soft spot for Jesse Pinkman. He’s just this lost kid struggling to find his way. I’m so, so opposite of that character. It’s nice to kinda zip on that skin, play make believe for a little bit. I love everything about him. He’s just this messed up kid who thinks cooking crystal meth is an art form and I think that’s beautiful.” - Aaron Paul
