眼镜王蛇vs印度蟒

Battle of Giants: King Cobra vs. Indian Rock Python
King cobras are known to feed primarily on snakes and they use their neurotoxic venom to subdue their prey before ingestion. Pythons are non-venomous, but they are immensely strong and use constriction to squeeze the life out of prey and predators alike.
This 12-foot king cobra attempted to make a meal of a 6-foot python and bit it around the midbody, injecting a lethal dose of venom. However, the python was not about to go down without a fight. The python wrapped its tail around the king's neck and started squeezing. For nearly 30 minutes, both snakes were locked in battle, the king with his fangs in the python, and the python with its coils around the king's neck, slowly suffocating him. Soon, the king realized that being able to breathe was more important than having a full belly. He let go of the python and started writhing, attempting to get free of the python's vice-like grip. It was another 10 minutes before the king's venom started to take effect and the python's grip slightly loosened. The king took this opportunity to quickly slip out of the constrictor's coils and made a hasty escape, leaving the python in his dust. The python had temporarily avoided being eaten by the king, but presumably succumbed to the venom's effect shortly thereafter. The king cobra will live to fight another day, while the python will not.
