Many Korean fans of Kill Me Heal Me who pre-ordered the Director's Cut are currently canceling their orders because 1) the Director's Cut Initiative Team had lied about who the distributing company is (they have a bad reputation for butchering the screen resolution of MLFTS on Blu-ray and promised replacements but have postponed shipment to June), 2) the distributor whined about the production cost going up because the director worked too hard on special features, decided on limiting what they will give away as pre-order gifts, and has been hinting that the image quality will be sacrificed for KMHM Director's Cut as well, 3) and the Initiative Team has vanished from the KMHM Gallery, closing down the Team's website, and there are suspicions of them misappropriating funds during the commentary recording. What aggravated the KMHM Gallers (MeMes) the most was that the distributor had told the Initiative Team not to communicate anything about the progress of the Director's Cut production to the fans and blamed things on the director, who was only guilty of being passionate about delivering more of KMHM to the fans.
As the distributor refuses to reveal how many copies of DVD and BD had been pre-ordered, it is uncertain whether the current boycotting effort will do anything to them, but if any of you have ordered the Director's Cut, you should know that there is a chance that the whole deal may get called off. Canceling the pre-order when the payment was made with an international credit card apparently costs a considerable amount of canceling fee.

There will be DVDs and BDs released in other countries such as Japan regardless of what happens in Korea. Still, I thought international fans should know what's going on in the off chance somebody managed to order it despite the language barrier.
