在广袤的非洲概论凯蒂大草原，
到处都是无限宽广的体育运动场。
年幼的动物们，
都在田径体育训练中心练习奔跑。
当太阳升起来的时候，
年幼的动物们就进入跑道，
太阳落山时才能休息。
狮子妈妈和羚羊妈妈，
都带她们的孩子，
来这里报名参加训练。
狮子妈妈和羚羊妈妈，
都大声地命令她们的孩子：
跑快一点，再跑快一点！
小狮子问妈妈，
要跑那么快干嘛？
我很累，
为什么要跑那么快！
狮子妈妈说：
你要是跑不过最慢的羚羊，
你就会活活地被饿死。
小羚羊也问妈妈，
要跑那么快干嘛？
我很累，
为什么要跑那么快！
羚羊妈妈说
你要是跑不过最快的的狮子，
你就会被活活地咬死。
小狮子和小羚羊终于明白了，
拼命奔跑的重要的意义：
生命就是要拼命地奔跑！
要活命就必须要劳累，
不想劳累，
不是被活活地被咬死，
就一定会被活活地饿死。
