甘米银岛，环岛一圈只有64公里的小岛，岛的中部是海拔1300多米的火山，这里离薄荷岛坐船还需要4个小时，走了十多天终于快到宿雾了，不喜欢菲律宾的大城市，杂乱、拥堵、马路上空气污浊，城市基础设施差，大城市周边的河流污染都很严重。坐大巴也是坐够了，200多公里的路程往往都要一天。
从棉兰老岛的Balingoan码头坐船到甘米银岛的南部的Benoni Ferry Terminal大概一个半小时，在菲律宾乘船买票是有点麻烦，下面是一个老外的甘米银岛游记，挺有同感，菲律宾政府的效率确实很差，坐个船买完船票还要买两次税，还要在不同的窗口，很多时候都搞不太清楚。
The island was very nice, especially the nature. The mountain and the see meet here in harmony, and the water was clear and clean.
Travelling by ship from Balingoan to Camiguin is not made easy. We had to que for an hour because no one people incharge there and many people waiting and also buy many diffirents kinds of tikets that consuming more time in the balingoan port cross to caminguin island. Then we had to buy separately 2 pesos tax tickets trom a different office, pay 1,339 pesos for our car, pay the regular payment 170 pesos per person, and additional entre fee to the island for each of us 15 pesos and the car again 129 pesos inside the the port of Balingoan. I hope the local authorities and the ship company could cooperate a bit more, so that all the payments could be charged from one desk, instead of running forth and back from desk to on other. Or maybe they just don't want people to go to Camiguin Island.
We visited Camiguin quite shortly, basically concentrating to snorkel and swim on the White Island, which is actually a sand bank just few hundred meters from the main island. We could see few fishes, but no corals, and white sand everywhere.
The return from the island was much easier, the pitchers helped us, and brought the bunch of tickets for us directly. Everything ran much faster than in Balingoan, and the return was also cheaper than the arrival.

甘米银岛住宿比较集中的地方在岛的北部，曼豪巴镇西边几公里处的海边，岛上的交通主要是吉普尼车和摩托车，从码头乘坐到曼豪巴镇上的吉普尼再转车，这里有很多西方人开的民宿客栈。
菲律宾的众多小岛多半保持了原生态，风光旖旎，今天住了曼豪巴镇西部海边的竹屋，主人是美国人，娶了了菲律宾老婆，院子里一栋别墅自住，另一部分是九间竹屋用来经营。晚上坐在院子里的竹棚下，听蝉鸣蛙叫，海涛拍岸！
甘米银岛不大，但是能开展的活动不少，爬火山、山地车、攀岩、看瀑布、冲浪、潜水等等，昨天住进来一对瑞士情侣，装备就几大箱，说是要玩七天。租了辆摩托车环岛，带了浮潜装备，准备找个浮潜的好地方，出发不久就开始下雨，时停时住，时大时小，为了躲雨走走停停，就这样一路衣服都是湿的，没想到热带地区下点雨也还挺冷的。
遇到一处叫Giant clams Sanctuary&White beach,这里真是个浮潜的好地方，据介绍有七千多种海洋生物，最著名的是巨蚌，可惜天气不如意没法浮潜。

We had a bit of trouble trying to find this conservation area, as our taxi driver had not heard of this. It is in the Savaia village and worth asking the locals where it is. It cost 10 Tala per person and 5 tala in addition to park the car, which we thought was a little expensive as most other attractions in Samoa don't charge for parking. Once you get to the water you should see that the area with the clams is cordoned off and you swim about 30m from a platform into this area. It took us around 15min to find the clams once we were in the water, which was a little fun in itself. Hint: try the middle of the area! There were dozens of massive clams, all with different colours and quite beautiful to see. There is also plenty of coral and fish to be seen as well and I also found a turtle as well when on the hunt for the claims. The only other downside worth mentioning was the toilet just before the platform, it was not well maintained and I wouldn't recommend using the facilities there.

另外环岛的近海还有两处小岛，白色的沙滩，都是潜水的好地方，沿着环岛公路一路参观冷泉，瀑布和一些古迹，参观完最后一个瀑布又是大雨如注，彻底淋成了落汤鸡。最近几天都是雨天，明天直接去宿雾了！不过甘米银岛真的是还值得再来一次！
