意外的悲伤消息，在照片里有几天没见到的那只年轻斯巴达母狮，今日官方宣告死亡，natural causes，也就是说目前还没有明确死因。太难过了，目前斯巴达狮群还剩下老母狮和小浅公主。

The southern section of our reserve, Charleston has seen five different prides traversing the area. The Styx Pride crossed the Sand River east and then back onto the western bank. They potentially had a close run-in with the Kambula Pride. The Kambula pride and one Gowrie male were found at entrance Sibuye Drive. They may have stolen a kill from the Styx Pride. A yet to be identified pride, consisting of five lions (4 females and 1 sub-adult male) were at Charleston Koppies. *There is sad news, as we unfortunately announce the passing of the younger Eyrefield lioness. She passed from natural causes. Leaving just the older lioness and her young female cub. In the northern parts of the reserve a Gowrie male and a Kambula lioness have been mating near Flockfield Tower. Two lionesses from the Nkuhuma Pride were viewed near Mlowati Dam roaring in search of the rest of their pride members.
