NEW DELHI: Realty major Tata Housing has shown keen interest in taking up affordable housing projects in urban areas under the Housing for All mission. The ministry has asked the company to come out with a workable model under which it can form joint ventures with the state governments to implement the projects and accelerate the pace of construction.
为了响应全民住房计划，房地产巨头塔塔房产对经济适用房表现出了浓厚兴趣。印度建设部已经要求该公司提出一个可行的模式，与邦政府组建合资企业，实施项目并加快施工速度。

Sources said the delegation said though the prices of affordable houses have increased significantly from Rs 3-5 lakh per unit to Rs 10-12 lakh, the prices can fall if land is made available free for such projects. “All possible options including pre-fabricated model to push pace of construction would be looked into,” said the ministry official.
消息人士称，虽然经济适用房的价格已经从每套30-50万卢比大幅上涨到每套100-120万卢比，但是土地若能免费提供，价格就能降下来。为了加快施工速度，包括预制模式在内的各种选择均会被考虑。

If more and more developers build large residential complexes in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities along with IT and Software parks it will reduce the burden on Metro Cities and Tier 1 cities. This will also restrict the price rise in the Metros and other pressures because of population concentration in selected areas.
