35岁重返校园，备战托福
当了快四年的全职妈妈，早已经跟不上时代的步伐，与其坐以待毙不如主动出击，给自己订一个小目标，然后竭尽所能为之努力，目标还是要有的，万一真的实现了呢！
大宝快4岁了，小宝刚刚18个月，告别了喂养难题，现在“育儿”才是重点。大宝上蒙特梭利幼儿园，周一至周五上午半天，他上课的时间我就带着小宝去图书馆、博物馆、公园参加各种早教活动。但生活的全部不是只有孩子，我也要留点时间和空间提升下自己，再过几年等孩子们上小学了我还是得回归社会，一辈子当家庭主妇可不是我的理想。
开学之初去了社区大学（是的，楼主在好山好水好寂寞的北美大农村），看了各种感兴趣的课程，不看不知道，一看才知道自己根本没多少选择。很多课程必须过了托福（TOEFL--Test of English as a Foreign Language ）或是ESL(English as a second or foreign language)才能选，我只通过了ESL的初级课程。两种都可以，权衡再三还是选择了托福。
学校的上课时间不管怎么安排都是不方便。不可以带小孩子上课，旁边又没有托管所，白天要带小宝上午的时间安排不出来，晚上有时间可离家来回40分钟的车程，胆子不够肥不敢去。托福报名后可以选择自修，自己看书自己练习，有时间就去上课，准备好了就回学校考试。这样的安排暂时来说是最好的，不排除一段时间后策略有更改。
从图书馆借了两本书，一本是TOEFL Power Vocab，800+的必需单词，预计一天学5个半年可以啃下来；另一本是The Official Guide to the TOEFL Test，一共10章，一个月一章一年内攻破它，里面有各种例文，听说读写都可以练习到。每晚的9点到10点是学习时间，然后开个帖在这里，每天来打卡记录下，也是一种动力。

Good evening everyone! I had a tough night last night. The little one woke me up at least 5 times. He was sitting in the dark quietly at 3:30 in the morning. Around 4 he finally went back to sleep. I think this morning he’d rather stay at home to take a nap than go to the library or museum to play.
Today is first day of school for my big boy. I hope he can have listening ears and make some new friends.

听说读写中，写绝对是我最薄弱的。平时用惯了手机的智能输入，很多单词会说但写的时候就会拼错，所以现在，从最基本的日常流水账开始记起，慢慢练习吧。
听和说是最基本的都没问题，毕竟听不懂或是不开口，那就跟聋子和哑巴无异了。至于读，大部分地方的标识都是英语，来了几年也积累了不少词汇，再加上现在开始每天学习新单词，也会慢慢变好的。

孩子在2016年中考后，考的托福。之前一次也没有考过，我感觉不是特别难吧？孩子的成绩过了110。
